With every sector getting more competitive by the day, the need to stay at the top of your game is of utmost importance if you wish to stay in the league. When it comes to enhancing and nurturing sales skills, the only ways we have are either to go for the much despised and looked down upon Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) or go for a professional skill upgrade on the subject. Now, even though there are a number of training firms offering sales training courses for sales professionals from all hierarchical levels and industrial backgrounds, most of us usually find it unfeasible to adjust the timings of the training sessions in our preoccupied daily regimes. However, with online sales training this barrier can be easily eradicated.
As the name suggest, online sales training is imparted by using web based means of communications as well as numerous online tools. The main benefit such training programs have to offer is the time flexibility. Unlike conventional sales training programs, online courses in sales give the trainees the much needed freedom to choose their study hours. With the resources and other materials used for training stored on a web-based server, accessibility is never really a concern. Registered users can simply login with using their credentials to access the database as per the availability of time.

I am aiming at becoming an investment banker. I’m currently in my second year of my Bachelor of Business Banking & Finance, and im studying part time only for this year.
As an investment banker, you need to have negotiating skills, dealing with other banks and prospective clients. I therefore decided to look fo a part time sales job.
Today, I was offered a job, full time, where they train me (Course: Certificate IV in Business Sales) to become a Business to Business Salesman for mobile phone businesses. My initial salary for the first year is $35,000+superannuation+commission. They claim that by my second year, I will be equipped to make $120,000. I’m 20 years old and I have a Diploma of Share Trading and an Advanced Course Certificate in Speed Reading People (Body Language). The downside is they expect me to work 5 days a week from 9am-5pm. I know it will be very difficult to do both Uni and a full time job, but definitely not impossible. But is it worth it to put on my resume in the future (a few years time)? Will it count in becoming an investment banker, or a sales representative at a financial institution?
Please, explain to me what your thoughts are.

How come the only alternative education programs outside of junior and state colleges are so corrupt?? They don’t list the course times, prices, or the length of the program at ALL! They want to be all sly on the phone with you too. They share your number with companies who leave weird sales-messages over and over again. Is there ANY SCHOOLS in southern california that train for medical positions, massage therapy, pharmacy tech etc without being so darn shady??

I’ve been a musician for my whole life, I’d had great success with every single show I did, and had big turnouts, many of whom I have no clue who they are, so I know there’s many people who just want to come and see a performer like me play. So I know there’s a market. I have done so much to promote myself, so much to publish my music, I’d not made any money except with my live performances, and even then, it was on the paltry side of the money making scheme, either other bands robbed the door charges before I got to it, or I never got paid. I have been told that if I had someone representing me and had them hunt down gigs, I could make a ton of money in a short amount of time with the skills I have, and that I don’t know what I’m doing, that I need to find someone who can handle the business end of everything, and someone else to handle the promotions… So I need an agent and a promoter. The music I do seems to sell it’s self, but because I’m clueless as to how to really get the job done on the business end, I’m stunted professionally. I’ve worked my whole life on music and nothing but music, so I’m really good at music, but I don’t understand methods of how to sell it, I’d tried selling cds online, never happened once, I tried finding bandmates to get my projects off the ground, I keep finding people who’re space cadets, barely professional, and barely able to play music, highly amateur. As a soloist, I’d made tons of money just from being in the flow and having people invite me to shows, but now no one’s inviting me to shows, I’d moved and lost contact with many people, so now I see it’s a vital necessity to create my own flow, and the best way to do it is to have someone represent for me, and help me find gigs and recording contracts, business deals, selling and distributing cds, I have no clue how to do that. Someone help!
