1. LAND SPECULATORS
2. MORRILL LAND-GRANT ACT
3. SOONERS
4. LONG DRIVE
5. THE GRANGE
6. D
7. Most likely C; NOT D or B!; A seems too broad.
8. UNKNOWN; NOT B!
9. D; in opposition. A, B, and C give leeway for immigration.
10. I say C because Mexican immigration has always been controversial.
11. I say B because of this website mentioning how some schools only taught grammar:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_reform
12. NOT C OR D; Not B because while some parties were formed, that wasn’t there intent; A because they “ensured” political rights.
13. NOT C OR D!; B seems too narrow; A sounds like a summary “as a whole”.
14. NOT A, C, OR D!: B because, according to wikipedia, “The case helped cement the legal foundation for the doctrine of separate but equal…”
15. C is most “logical”; B is completely untrue, A and D are the opposite of the questions direction. Although one has to consider where the focus of their strength balances out (in childbirth) that makes them equal.

People who type “Do your own homework” are not considering their best answer percentage if they are sincerely answering in Yahoo! Answers. Aside from the “moral” opinions of people, the internet is a vacation from school. I’m sure I would have something to say if I typed something in the search box of Internet Explorer and it returned, “Find it yourself”.
Therefore, people who type such things should be automatically removed from the answer list.
