So.. came across this. Thoughts?

Legit: Do you support “Alpha Role” training methods, or Positive Reinforcment using treats.

Answer by Nekkid Truth!
sounds like this person wants it all..
a guarantee that a puppy will be no more than 4 pounds
a guarantee that the puppy wont have retained puppy teeth (?? this isnt genetic!)
doesnt want a spay/neuter contract.. but does want a full health guarantee
doesnt want to buy from breeders who breed for profit.. but someone who occasionally breeds their pets.
I dont think they are going to be getting a puppy.. they have too many stipulations on what they want… no breeder is going to give them all that.
ADDED
Wants one to be tiny.. but against breeding a tiny female
yet she has plans to churn out a litter or two from her tiny female.

Unrealistic. Seems to be a person with control issues. Not someone that’s good for a dog.
That is ridiculous.
The more I read stuff like that, the more I want to surround myself with animals and not humans.
Even a health checked dog could still have issues. And to insist on such a small sized dog, which I’m sorry but its just UNNATURAL to be selectively breeding for such small size – NUTS! And Unhealthy for the animals (its no wonder they are complaining about having massive vet bills in the past).
If you want a pet that small, go buy a rat and stop encouraging anyone to miniaturize dogs even further.
Lol. Probably one of the funniest ads ever. She doesn’t want a poorly bred OR a well bred dog (unless the breeder is willing to cover for retained puppy teeth (WTF?)and sign her contract? She’s bashing BYBs, but will alter her puppies after they’ve pumped out a litter or two. Breeders who won’t ship raises a red flag? I can’t wait to see where she ends up getting these puppies from because no one is up to her standards which are all over the place to begin with
Legit: I support whatever works with a particular dog. I don’t see methods of training as ‘one size fits all’
Very unrealistic….When I was breeding poms, I would tell people “No, I won’t sell you a puppy.” Maybe someone needs to tell them this. I did have a lot of stipulations, but you can’t guarantee a lot things and then say you are an honest breeder.
What do I think? ………………. RANT!!! The fact this individual apparently doesn’t think anybody producing only a few litters from a few dogs isn’t a breeder, puts me off right there. Obviously anybody who breeds a litter IS a breeder. End of.
The rest of it bored me after the first few sentences. I hope she finds her two puppies – and even more I HOPE SHE DOESN’T BREED THEM TOGETHER, and become yet another BYB!! Pot and kettle black comes to mind there.
I don’t support Alpha Role training methods, with my own breed(s). Might work with some, but it should only be done by somebody who knows what they are doing – so for most, that means not at all. Positive Reinforcement, using treats or not …… works for me and mine.
I think this is the kind of PSYCHO I would run far and fast from if it showed up at my house to look at puppies.
Obviously reputable breeders have already weeded her out.
She would not make it past my breeders phone interview.
I have had nut jobs like this many times over the last several decades looking for horses . They want Black Beuty, Mr. Ed, Trigger and Secretariat all in one horse and all for a cheap price.
The kind of person who puts a ranting ad like that on a site like Kiiji is the kind of person that would only cause problems if someone made the poor choice to do business with her.
LG: I do not believe in bribing my dog with treats to train it, chances are I will not have a grocery store or treats with me at the time I really need to get my dog to obey, and then I have a dog named speed bump. There are other ways of positive reinforcement but the bunny huggers only think that means food. I use a training method that gives out praise and corrections. Corrections only after the dog is given reasonable time and practice to know what is expected of it.
She sound like nutcase.
