Sales training programs are provided using a number of different methods. Training has traditionally been provided for groups in a seminar or workshop setting that is directed by a professional facilitator. With advances in technology trainings can now be done over the internet using webinars. In addition, CDs and DVDs are available as well as online courses.

Unless there is a good follow up plan, it will not matter which style of coaching is used since the benefits will be lost. The main objective of training is to consistently increase profits for the company. However, if there is no follow through to the eduction, there will be no return on the investment.

I usually don’t write about sales, but selling skills and customer service skills have always been closely related.  This was a topic I though worth discussion:

If you’re a sales trainer, I have a question for you.  Has your ‘new way’ of selling become ‘old school’ without you noticing?

I heard a sales trainer last week referring to ‘old school’ sales people and ‘old school’ selling skills.  He then went on to passionately describe the better ‘new way’ of selling.  What I found interesting was that this ‘new way’ of selling that he was so passionate about is at least ten years old now.  This got me to thinking.  Is it possible that the ‘new way’ of selling is becoming a little dated?  Is it possible that the selling ‘best practices’ that most of us embrace aren’t actually the best any more?

Question by Candyluver: is it wrong for me to wanna be a professional skater when i grow up and im a girl?
its just cuz i like tot skate i use my brothers skatebaord tho and then he sold it and i wanted 2 buy my own but he said my dream would never come true cuz when u stop skating for like 4 days u come to lose your skills. and he said i wont be able to b a pro…do u think this is right?
